What they need right now
Food three times a day
Kitten wet and dry. Stay on kitten formula until a year old.
Boosters every 3–4 weeks to 16 weeks
Rabies at 12–16 weeks where required. Keep the record card — adopters will need it.
Spay or neuter at 2 lb
Safe from about 8 weeks at weight. This is the single biggest thing you can do for the next litter that never happens.
Keep socialising
Carrier practice, nail trims, car rides. Every calm experience now makes adoption stick.
Adopt in pairs where you can
Two kittens together settle faster, play harder, and destroy less.
